Production Blog…..Still waiting to film


Heyy scholars, welcome back!! I made progress from my last blog. Since I can film the first couple scenes in my house, that's really convenient for me. One of my friends volunteered to film for me. I’m really grateful for that. I could easily film my little sister for the beginning scenes, but I need a stable filmed for my scenes. I found a time that is convenient for one of my friends to film. That is one thing I could say is a con of working alone, not having everyone for a designated job because it's all me. But luckily I got someone so this is really good. We have not started filming yet because have college applications due soon. If you saw my storyboard, you have an idea of what my video will look like. I want to add different transitions for a professional touch. But, I don't know how to edit very well when it comes to videos. I need to learn how to add a split screen to the video. I might go back to cap cut and see if I could use anything there. Their platform was really useful when I needed to edit my commercial. I worry about editing after I shoot my video. One thing I need to do is get all my props together for the video. Majority of the things I have in my house, which will make things easier. Stay tuned for the music video progress.   Welcome back scholars to your favorite blog!!! Last time we began taking in peer reviews to make our final task a full success. Being able to get reviews from our peers really helps us look into any things we may have missed. Some things that needed to be fixed were the transitions. Many of our peers stated, they enjoyed our sequence but the transitions were a bit fast. "I feel like you can make your transitions a bit slower, so the viewers can take in the full screen set" I agreed, making the transitions too fast may cause viewers confusion or not enough time to assess the scene. There were a couple of critiques on our acting skills. I was shocked when a peer stated our acting was "pretty good". In personally thought otherwise, but it felt really good to know. Planning Blog: Locations, Participants, Health, Schedule

Hey lovelies!! Welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to go even further into the planning of how my group's opening scene came to be. Although planning this was so fun, there was also a lot of layers to it. I'll start by talking about our location. When first discussing about our location, we knew that it would have to be somewhere of a location region as well as a mall where people visit frequently. After conversing about it  we decided on Sawgrass Mall. We were satisfied with that at first the realized that we had an issue.  What we wanted to do would require us to be in a smaller and more confined room. After realizing that, we decided to back on the scratch board and make some compromises. With only a few minutes of deliberating, we decided to use a groupmates' house. With our location confirmed everything seems set.  So far we have all of our scenes set, assigned roles, and our location. Some of the things we're still looking into are the props we will need....

Title Research: Dead Silence

  Hey scholars, welcome back.  The film that I chose to analyze is Dead Silence because it is a great representation of how a horror film should be.  The website I used wa s   Art of the Title What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?   The  titles  that are displayed  first  is the title of the film. It is in red  and has  a spooky looking font to add to the way that the movie is horror. The next titles  are from who made the film and a brief description of what to expect. Then it goes into naming everyone who helped contribute  to  making the film happen like the actors and what not.    What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?
