Hii scholars, welcome back to my blog. I’m really excited for this week of production. It’s finally homecoming week!! This is the week I plan on doing most of my filming for my music video. If you read my other blogs, you know this week will be the most productive of all. Homecoming is on Saturday which is where I want to shoot a couple of scenes. The venue is really nice and adds that party/big event aspect that I was looking for. When filming, I want to include different camera shots. One camera shot that will be included is a close up. Around the parts where there is lip-syncing will be a close up for extra effect. Pan movement for the dancing scenes, as well as the ending. In the end, we filmed with a back view of the main character walking down a road. There is no set choreography for the dancing portion, it'll kind of be random. I finally filmed the portion where the setting takes place at my house. The filming consisted of many takes especially cause I was filming my sister.

Hey scholars, welcome back to the blog….again. Today I got a good amount of work done. My music video is coming together a little bit. Most of my filming will be done at homecoming. The venue/ atmosphere goes well with my last couple of scenes. It gives party vibes,  Plus, it works for me and my friends, so we can film there. The part where I’m getting my makeup done, I need to make sure I’m able to film that. I have to confirmation with the MUA first. I have all my props together that I want in the video. Now for the most important part….editing. I did some research for different editing platforms. I want to try and use iMovie, since I have an iPhone. I can use it to edit the video, with CapCut. For iMovie, I can use it to cut scenes that I don’t want. I can also use it to add background music which is a plus.   Heyy scholars, welcome back to my blog!! This is gonna be a long week. Just to update you guys on my college applications; I finished my common app but I need to write an essay….I'm not sure what to write about, but I’ll figure it out. For important matters, my music video is in progress. I found the green dress that I want my little sister to wear in the video. It’s a really cute puffy dress, that she loves. I have most of my things to film all I’m missing is time. We couldn’t film this weekend because I had a family reunion to go to. Most definitely will film next weekend because it’ll be convenient for me. Sometimes I wish I worked in a group. But this is the price you pay when you only want to do your ideas. Hopefully the stress is worth it. I want my project to come out the exact way I envisioned it. The reason I chose that song is because it kind of connects to me getting older. Heyy scholars, welcome back!! I made progress from my last blog. Since I can film the first couple scenes in my house, that's really convenient for me. One of my friends volunteered to film for me. I’m really grateful for that. I could easily film my little sister for the beginning scenes, but I need a stable filmed for my scenes. I found a time that is convenient for one of my friends to film. That is one thing I could say is a con of working alone, not having everyone for a designated job because it's all me. But luckily I got someone so this is really good. We have not started filming yet because have college applications due soon. If you saw my storyboard, you have an idea of what my video will look like. I want to add different transitions for a professional touch. But, I don't know how to edit very well when it comes to videos. I need to learn how to add a split screen to the video. I might go back to cap cut and see if I could use anything there. Their platform was r

heyy scholars!! this is my storyboard, so you can get an idea of how my video is gonna play out. Yours Truly, A. LaFrance ;)  Scene 1 - The video begins with a little girl waking up in the morning (represents little me) Scene 2 -  The little girl starts her daily routine getting ready for the day.  Scene 3 - This scene jumps to older me (me) waking up doing my daily routine. ( I get a calendar notification for a big event) Scene 4 - I'm out at the mall shopping for my big event. Scene 5 - Younger me sitting in the mirror, playing with makeup, and singing. Scene 6 - older me getting my makeup done by an MUA  . Scene 7 - Jump cut to little girl dancing around the room and singing.  Heyy scholars, welcome back to my blog. I'm currently doing research to have better understanding of what music videos in my genre usually entail. Such as camera angles, acting, basically everything that brings the music video together/ its conventions. All aspects included to assembly the final video.  Heyy scholars, welcome back to my blog. After doing some research on different music videos/artists in my genre, I've been planning on how to execute my music video. First this is, I changed my song. I wanted to do unbreak my heart by Toni Braxton, but I couldn't find someone to play by male main character (Bummer). I decided to do Grown Woman by Beyonce, I'm really excited for this execution. The plan is to do like an age transition. I'm gonna have my little sister play "little me". It goes well with the video because of the theme that I want to include. I plan to film at a couple of places. First, I’m going to film at my house because it’s in the comfort of my home. Also, it’ll be convenient for me considering the first couple of scenes. I want to film a couple of scenes of me shopping at the mall for the scene where I’m getting ready for the event.   Heyy scholars, welcome back to my blog. Senior year is really kicking my behind. Things are crazy expensive for no reason. Anyways, as you guys know I’m currently working on my music video project. I am really excited for this project. I know the blog has “group” in the title, but I’ve decided to work alone. I was thinking about working in a group, but one I wanna work on my own time if that makes sense. Working in a group sometimes can cause some conflict when it comes to different things. In this scenario, we’d all have to agree on the song choice/genre, storyboard, etc. I have a lot of ideas that I want or incorporate don’t really want someone’s approval. I know it may sound selfish, but that’s  just how I feel personally. I do enjoy working in groups most of the time, but I’m stressed enough, and I don’t want to depend on others to do their part. Secondly, all the groups were already  formed, so that’s already settled. It’s definitely going to be a lot more working by myself, but

 Hiii scholars, welcome back to my blog! Today I am really excited to share with you my new project that I will be working on. Like I said previously, I am really excited to start this new project. It’s definitely going to be a lot of work, but I know the end result will be worth it. This project entails a visual story with auditory influence. Have you guessed the project yet??! My next project will be….a Music Video. Being a person who loves music, this really excited me that I get to make my own. I have many songs in mind, but I’m not sure which to choose from. Some ideas I had were a dance choreography that tells a story about a girl. I haven’t finished the storyline yet but that’s just a thought for now. If you’ve read about me, you know I love dancing. I was going to use a majorette song as a back up plan because I feel like I could come up with something easily. But, I wanted to be more creative with this project.
