Production Blog...FINALLY!!!

(Feeling relieved....)

Hey scholars...welcome back to my blog :) Today was a good day. I felt very productive with my tasks, especially this commercial. I'm so happy to be in the ending process of this project. It still needed a couple tweaks to get it just right. For the most part though, the foundation is complete. After all the other edits I made using the template from capcut, I began inserting things in order. I used capcut to merge the things together in order to make a video. It was kind of hard trying to merge together videos with others. Like the slideshow of my photos was already a short video. I had to figure out to connect this with my Ted Talk video. Other than capcut and adobe photoshop, my Iphone had a big role in my editing as well. When editing my videos, there was some things I had to cut out or re-do. I simply used the editing feature on my phone to cut out certain parts of my video until I was satisfied with the end result. I also added the "vivid" filter to make the video a bit brighter. After, I merged everything together it was time to add the background music. While I know the basics of editing, I'm not a pro. It took a really long time for me to incorporate the background music. At first, I was just going to add the YouTube video while making the video as a whole....:( I know that doesn't make sense cause it would just play in one section of the video. I needed it to be playing in the background. Then I tried to incorporate it in my montage and it ended up being the same concept with the previous attempt. Finally though, I used capcut to play the music in the video. I achieved this by inserting the music as a voiceover. On certain apps you could just add the music but for some reason it wouldn't let me do that. Once everything was together and fully edited, I made a few cuts and saved it. FINALLY, I completed my "YOU" commercial. Even though it was a bit stressful, I am really happy with the end result. I can't wait for you guys to watch it, I feel like a professional film producer :) Until next time scholars...>3!!!

Yours Truly, A. LaFrance ;)
