Research/Planning

heyy scholars! welcome back to my blog. Today I'm going to be planning how I want to structure my "YOU" commercial. Since I love marching band music, I was thinking about adding a song from one of my favorite bands. Some of my favorite marching bands are FAMU's marching 100 and ASU's Sonic Boom. I love FAMU's version of "espn", but ASU plays "velvet rope" by Janet Jackson really good too. I would say those are a couple of my favorites. I was thinking about using band music in the background of my songs because it's something I really enjoy. Those are just a few of the great marching band songs out there. The upbeats of the music, represents me when I'm full of energy and optimistic. I wanted to incorporate a video of me dancing as well, since dancing is one of my hobbies. It adds to the "you" aspect of the commercial by showing one of my interest. For the commercial in general since its all about me, I was thinking of including a photo montage. Potentially, I would start with some baby pictures, then add some over the year pictures. Something like a then versus now structure. To keep it entertaining, I was thinking about adding a couple of memes that relates to me and might relate to you guys too. I'm not sure of how I want to put the things in order yet. For all the things I want to include, I might start off with the photo montage. Starting with the montage could give it a nostalgic feel, at least for me. Then, I could get into some memes, those would most likely be based off my current mood. Since I wanted this blog to also be about events during my senior year I'm gonna include some pictures from my first week. #LastFirstday >3 I have to come up with the general message of the commercial, maybe something catchy. I really love the "YOU" theme of it. That's all I have for now though. Thank you for reading!

Yours truly, A. LaFrance ;)
