Production Blog…..final cuts
Hey scholars, welcome back to my blog. The week is coming to an end and I’ve made some progress on my video. I’ve decided to use iMovie to edit my music video. With iMovie I can add clips and cut them. I want to have the least amount of takes necessary. But that didn’t go as planned. My production was all over the place because I decided to work alone. It was really hard to film by myself because of all the different angles I needed to get. iMovie helped with some form of production. It was really useful with editing each clips to the length I wanted and the different transitions I could add. One thing I didn’t like was the background sound edits. The app wouldn’t let me add music to the background which became a problem. The app didn’t allow other music a part from their own to be downloaded to avoid copyright. Aside from the music editing, the different animations were really fun to add along with the transitions. In the beginning I used the magic movie tool where it generates a video automatically. This tool was useful but it cut out a lot of the parts that I needed to fit my storyboard. So I went back and edifies each clip to the time duration that I wanted. I’m almost done putting everything together for the final result. Until next time scholars. The final video will be posted soon!!
