Production Blog....Film Day pt. 2

Heyyy scholars welcome back to the blog!! Our film day was a success, we had a few mishaps but we made it work. One problem we had was filming our group mate breaking in. The way the living room was set up, my group attempted to film as if the people watching the TV didn't see them come in. It was actually pretty obvious, so the different film angles kind of made a difference. It was funny the amount of times we had to film. The opening sequence of a horror movie is like the first chord of a symphony, setting the tone for what's to come. It's where tension is brewed, curiosity is piqued, and the stage is set for a rollercoaster of fear and suspense. With that being said we needed to make sure that everything correlated with the previous scene. Another thing that was kept in mind was the dialogue in each scene. For example in one scene, Abimbola would be in the kitchen and Adriana calls for her to come to the living room. When the scene reverts back to Abimbola, we needed to make sure you heard the same dialogue in the background. We took multiple takes with this shot because it was hard to get the right timing.
