Production Blog.....Film Day pt. 1
Hiii scholars welcome back to my blog!!! Today is film day and I am so excited. As you guys know it was a bit rocky leading up to this point. I believe our filming process went successfully. The group met our goal of filming in one day, but we had a couple takes. After school, I arrived at our designated filming area and began work right away. We were going for a nice casual setting so we filmed our first couple scenes in the living room. The TV was playing in the background and we filmed our first scene on the couch. We had to refilm the scene a couple of times to get the hang of it. At first, I couldn't stop laughing because the thought of us filming a "movie" was hilarious. Everyone tried their best to incorporate their best acting skills (also hilarious). The scenes of the opening sequence were planned out but, the lines for each person were not. It wasn't really difficult because the scenes weren't complex. It would've been easier if our lines were planned out so they could be remembered. One of the reasons we had to keep reshooting was because of forgotten lines. At certain times, we had to playback the movie so that it could correlate with our last scene. Multiple scenes were shot because we tried to include different angles. One scene that was difficult to shoot was the breaking-in scene. TBC. Until next time scholars!!
Yours Truly, A. LaFrance ;)
